Animal
Care Committee Report The
Animal Care Committee met on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 from 1:30 PM to 5:00
PM CST, during the NIAA 2005 Annual Meeting in St. Paul Minnesota, with
20-25 people present. Dr.
Mark Spire served as the Chair and Dr. Jer Geiger served as the
Vice-Chair. The committee session focused on broad perspectives of welfare-related
issues. The following
speakers presented relevant information pertaining to proposed audits and
current legislative and activist initiatives. Dr.
