NIAA was a driving force in making a nationally recognized pseudorabies eradication program a reality.  NIAA continues to be actively involved in this effort in cooperation with the National Pork Producers Council and the USDA.  NIAA produced two educational pamphlets on pseudorabies for veterinarians and producers on the control and management of herds infected with the disease.
