Youth Programs Committee Report
April 8, 2003

The Animal Care Committee suggested that NIAA policy #4 be transferred to the Youth Programs Committee.  This policy was reaffirmed. 

The committee also asked the NIAA board to provide information on its website and act as a clearinghouse for the issues of importance for this committee.  The committee members will assist NIAA staff in providing information and links to help populate this website. 

Ms. Black also suggested that the Youth Programs Committee and the Animal Care Committee not be held at the same time as it does take away from this committee’s attendance. 

Ms. Black further recommended that the 2004 Annual Meeting Planning Committee consider a special one-day registration fee for next year. 

Chairman Olson said that these recommendations will be passed on to appropriate NIAA staff persons for implementation or committee consideration.

It was moved by Nancy Robinson, seconded by Joe Miller, and carried, “to adopt the resolutions and recommendations to the board from the Youth Programs Committee Report as presented.”
