ID/INFO EXPO 2005 Fast ApproachingBOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The highly anticipated ID/INFO EXPO 2005 is fast approaching, as the summer quickly fades. The event, scheduled for September 27-29 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel, is a prime opportunity to interact with leaders in animal identification. This one-of-a-kind conference and trade show, hosted by the National Institute for Animal Agriculture, brings together industry stakeholders to build consensus for a national animal identification system. “Our program is shaping up to be an excellent one,” says Dr. Robert Fourdraine, chair of the NIAA Animal Identification and Information Systems Committee. “The speakers represent a broad scope, yet bring to the table a detailed knowledge of animal identification as the U.S. moves forward with a national system.” An updated program is available at www.animalagriculture.org, including the more than 60 speakers and their topics. The goal of the event is to bring together the latest information on animal identification and information systems, showcase the newest technology and provide a forum for stakeholders to share concerns and success stories on animal identification.
